Does anyone know of a good anti-spyware program?

THe one I have right now is counterspy, and it is a complete POS. It is going to be expiring soon and I will need a replacement.

It's a rather simple but effective way to fight spyware. I guarantee a success.

In reviews, Windows Defender has been said to be one of the best free anti-spyware programs. However, if you are using a Windows version older than XP then it will not let you install it. BTW, this program is also one of the programs preinstalled on Windows Vista, so for those already using Vista, they already have it.

Delete your Windows folder. Most of your spyware is in that folder, so doing that will clean up most of the hardware on your machine.

It would also clean out most of your system files. I would not recommend it unless you like formatting your hard drive...

Put in your Windows XP cd, click install and install it over your old windows. This will clean all your spyware and stuff but you won't loose anything else. Most of the games will still work because all they have in windows folder is registry and uninstallation shortcut.
