Yes, the image is small but I think you can still see the blockiness of the ramp. Any ideas on how I would fix this?

This is a work in progress so I'll be putting up images of things I try out along the way.

I was working on something like this. Let me check my maps.

Does it have to be walkable?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by 00cnr on 2006-11-19 at 14:12:30
Preferrably walkable

I made you a "little" ramp, unfortunately it does only walkable by units by the size of a zergling or smaller. I will try more tomorrow and I'll see what I can come up with.

Just experiment with it untill you find something that isnt blocky or if is, barely noticible, and becides, if you put it into a game that lots of ppl play, they will think its realy cool and not care how blocky it is

Your ramp isnt too blocky, maybe use 1 sprite and you could fix it, oh, and Mp)Excalibur, they ran out of turkeys already sad.gif

Has anyone even looked on my ramp yet?

Why in gods name would you protect a map of terrain.
And you can't play it on Battle.net.
This situation greatly fustrates me.
I downloaded it the second time and that time, it gave me the "Invalid scenario" speech
You are incorrect, Starforge specificially tells me (3rd download) that it is Protected.

Apparently the map didn't work for some fellow terrain makers, so I decide to post a link to a screenshot instead!

Rock on!

Also, I know this way of blending has been used before, even by me, but aye, it's a nice concept!

Well, it's pretty tight, a zergling can squeeze through it, but not a marine.

good point, try and see if you can tweak it and make it fit a tank or something
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Chronophobia on 2006-12-02 at 10:44:08
I'll see what I can do.

ADDITION:
Okay, I made a new one, I added a link to you, click here.

By the way, I placed a tank there for you to know that it can squeeze through it without any problems.

A 5/10 would do that ramp some good.

You find it repetive don't you? I think the transition between ramp tiles and high dirt looks a little repetive, but that might not be anything that you'd notice.
