Is the URL in the bar still the act=ucp..... one?
Try copy-pasting that here. The News Portal is the default page in the else clause of the CGI part of index.php, so if you pass it parameters it doesn't recognize, you get the board index.
well i just tried replying to you and it worked, i only just realized that yesterday i didn't even get the "sending private message to name" thing, so im going to assume that i didn't have the right url, in which case non the less that is like the second time it happened in the last few weeks.
