Your point? Do you think "and cite sources" is grammatically incorrect or spelled wrong? It's neither. Or are you calling attention to the fact that many news topics don't cite sources? The ones that don't cite sources don't need to, and the ones that DO need to cite, do so.

"Cite sources" would apply for something that happened at another site. Obviously for something like me hiring a moderator, I don't need to cite a source.
