when ever i try and do the action set mission objectives, it doesnt show the text but if i hit F10 and check them there, theve changed to what its suppose to say....

then they are working... are you talking about mission briefings? cause you'd need to make triggers for mission briefings then.

i want to do it so it shows text like display text message only it doesnt show it after its says something new

thats cause it doesn't do that...just add your own display text message in the same trigger.

The "Set mission objectives" action only changes the mission objectives; it doesn't also display the text like in Blizzard's camapaigns. To show that text, you'll just need to add a "Display text message" action.

kinda, what i want is when it displays the text, it deletes the text that might or is, already there, like in tag when your it its countinusly says Player * is it over and over and doesnt stack up.

Aha! I knew it wink.gif . what you do is "Display text Message" when you are about to type, keep pressing enter so that you type near the bottom of the page[ I think it was 20 enters] :
Display txt message:
20xenter
"(color:Red)Player * is it"
wait X milliseconds
Display txt message:
20xenter
"(color:grey)Player * is it"


and so on. This will prevent the stacking cool1.gif

11 lines is the exact number I believe, but using more than that certainly doesn't really hurt. Note that using this method basically prevents the players from communicating with each other, though.
