Condition:Alsways
Action:RunAIScript:Send all units on random suicide Missions.

This is what is used for Cat n Mice games.
Get the good editors: Starforge, X-tra, and scmdraft wink.gif

This wouldn't really make the monsters roam around, it would be more like all of the monsters on the map moving directly toward the player to attack.

To make a computer's units move around the map randomly you can use the "Run AI Script at Location" action with the "Set Unit Order To: Junk Yard Dog" script selected.
StarEdit dosen't allow you to use this script though, so you'll most likely want to use Xtra Editor or Scmdraft2 to do it.

I could give you some lessons in triggering if you want. PM me if you'd like.

For monsters roaming about in a labyrinth you might actually want to have specific patterns, such as an ultralisk patrolling back and forth in a hallway, it would make the game so that you'd have to do more strategic moves instead of just hoping you don't run into a monster.

The Tutorial Database is also really helpful for learning how to do specific triggers.

Starforge
SCXE
SCMDraft 2 Beta 0.6.0

When you load SCMDraft 2 it should download 0.7.0 with the automatic updater, then you have to reopen it with the updated file.

Or of course, StarForge. But If you're new to triggering, don't use it. Many people think StarForge triggers are harder than normal StarEdit triggers.

Actually many people prefer Starforge exactly BECAUSE of the triggering system. Of course you need to know your conditions and actions before you can start in SF, because it does not show you a full sentence that expalins what the trigger does.

Yeah I know, but half of the mapmakers I have met, prefer normal SC triggers because they don't understand the SF trigger system. At least of the beginner triggerers, almost none understand SF triggering.

I know all my triggers but I prefer X-tra because I beleive it to be a quicker. I see no difference in SF and X-tra triggering.

If you want to start up a team project, I'd suggest going to the campaign and team projects forum.

If you just want to make the enemies roam around, just use the Junkyard script. You could just make bosses or other enemies you don't want roaming owned by another player.

I'd really recommend learning to do triggers yourself; most UMS games center around triggers. The basics really aren't that hard to learn.
