Anything Daft Punk is good. That is, if you like techno...

If you like LP and Korn, then you might also like Avenged Sevenfold or Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

Exodus? I would have almost left this in Null...

Looking at the "need other music" part and ignoring the rest of your post I'd undeniably say Stravinsky, but then who would listen to me?

Hmmmm. I think you should give "Wait and Bleed" and "Duality" by Slipknot a listen. If you like those, you might like some of their heavier songs.

I'll dl those now..

ADDITION:
bleh.. they are a little to calm though. I enjoy HARD ROCK, and it gets me in the mood.

Trapt - Headstrong
AC/DC - Thunderstruck

I used to love, but now I'm into harder rock.

Isn't it Strovinsky? There are variations, but I never saw anyone spell it with an A...

Try listening to:
Bach (Fugues are awesome)
Mozart (at 30+, talked about farting)
Beethoven (meh)
Handel
Haydn
Pachelbel
Vivaldi

Now, lets count the number of illegitimate children who say that the authors I listed are crap tongue.gif.

I've never seen it with an 'o', but after the number of different ways I've seen Peter Tchaikovsky written (Petr, Pyotr, etc.) I can never tell.

I am thinking of this guy, though.

eyeless and sic for slipknot... the music isn't motivational, and they just scream random things.. O.o

Report, edit, etc...Posted by Centreri on 2006-12-04 at 19:03:07
I kinda guessed which Strovinsky/Stravinsky you were talking about. Only one really famous one. I didn't like 'Le Sacre du Printemps' that much, not most of the movements I listened to, anyway. I liked Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor and such better.

Of the more popular music, I liked 'Breaking the Habit' by Linkin Park. That and 'In the End' are probably the only popular American music pieces I listened to and like. Don't listen to it anymore, though.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but nine inch nails is BAD.

Korpiklaani is enjoyable, but their songwriting leans on the haphazard side. They focus too much on a few ideas in each song and not enough on writing complete songs. Ensiferum, Windir, Månegarm, Lumsk, Tyr; these are all much better folk metal bands (although Lumsk may be a bit too out there for many people).

And Matt, the fact that a few songs you have are labeled as metal does not make them metal in any way. Korn never has been and likely never will be a metal band. There are no metal qualities about Korn.

I suggest you give Mastodon a listen. Maybe they can serve as a transitional band (from garbage to non-garbage).
