I have the MX518 too - fantastic mouse.

I also have the Microsoft Natural 4000, a beautiful and extremely comfortable keyboard all at once. It's the best $50 I spent on my PC (besides my mouse, but that was $60 at the time, so it doesn't count! tongue.gif ). I have a 20" widescreen Dell monitor, but I'm probably going to bump that up to the 30" Dell 3007wfp-hc (their refresh to the 30" line) that has improved image quality, contrast, response time, etc. etc. when I get my new PC.

Lastly, I have several types of audio output. I have awesome Panasonic surround sound headphones that I use to watch movies and cinematic-esque games like Oblivion where I reallllly want to get into the game. Then I have my cobbled together speaker system (2 GPX stereo speakers that are surprisingly awesome - they hit the highs and lows and never have any crackling - and a Kinyo subwoofer that does what it was meant to do - pound). Lastly, I have my GameCom Pro 1 Headset for CS: Source.

*Edit* Lol, I'm almost at a positive mineral count again!

My monitor is a Spectrum 5E. I think my keyboard and mouse are just standard HP stuff. And I use a headset instead of speakers, and I don't know what that is either (it says 'Cyber Acoustics' on it but no model name or number I can see).

Same mouse as you, Deathawk (I agree, love it - but I kind of want that wireless Logitech mouse with the nice wheel tongue.gif)

Default Compaq keyboard, default EMachine speakers (work fine) and SyncMaster 730B monitor (wonderful monitor).

But you have an mx518... Get a Logitech g15 keyboard instead and you'd be better off happy.gif

It won't really help; I don't need anything beyond what my default keyboard offers so far. But the new mouse has increase precision, no troubles because of the cord getting stuck and a cool new scroll wheel uberwoot.gif. Those extra buttons are cool, though.. when I get particularly picky I might get myself a new keyboard, but I'm not that picky so far tongue.gif. Don't tell me that keyboard isn't cool.

Keyboard + Mouse

My speakers are a little more complex. I have my computer wired into my dvd players surround sound, so I have about 7 Koss speakers and a 2 foot subwoofer in my basement, plus 2 other retro speakers in my ceiling. Aside from that it's also wired to the rest of my house, more of those retro speakers upstairs and 2 6-7 foot bar speakers in my garage.

Do companies such as Logitech make left-handed versions of their mice?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Deathawk on 2006-12-03 at 16:15:49
I'm a lefty and I use the mx518. It might not be made for lefties, but it works for one.

Try being right-handed. You'll like it tongue.gif. If no other way, break your left hand. You'll have no choice but to become a righty.
