They can be used for any Map Editor. Whether it would be StarForge, SCMDraft, StarEdit, or StarCraft X-tra Editor.
In SCMDraft if you paste those colour codes SCMDraft will convert them to the code.

i've never tried to use those codes or anything on scmdraft
i tried pasting them onto regular edit and it worked.
but regular edit sucks now that i have scm...but i can't even open my maps that i make.
