Flowers still bloom,
But bees no longer frequent
The hive abandoned,
And sweet honey dried.
The bee must have lost its sense of smell
Or perhaps it's just afraid
Ever since it had met Venus
Flowers were never again the same

Uh... yeah... I'm not really too sure if any of it makes sense, but it's 7:25 AM and I haven't slept, so if it doesn't make sense... rofl
Here's my analysis for it:
The poem is about my view on relationships between a man and a woman (actually, I'd prefer a boy and a girl... I still feel like a child). Myself, the man (bee) is still very attracted to many girls (flowers), but I don't ever feel like pursuing any of them anymore. Myself (hive) and my emotions of love and such (honey) seem like they're going nowhere, yet I feel it's there somewhere...
So either I've simply lost interest in relationships, or I'm afraid. Ever since "Venus"...
Venus represents three things. The first, indicating a woman. The second, Venus fly trap--so sweet yet deadly--and lastly, the woman indicated, in other words, an ex-gf.
So here's the chart:
Flowers - Girls
Bee - Me
Hive - My body/soul
Honey - Emotions of love and of the such
"Sense of smell" - interest in Flowers
Venus - Woman/Ex-gf/Carnivorous plant
And there yall have it folks
haha, know what's weird? Just as I feel like, "Eh, too girls, don't want to bother with that right now," this girl comes into the scenery... we'll have to see how this turns out
Poetry... I hate poetry. I hate literature that can mean a thousand things but really only means one or two. Well, that, and it's one in the morning, so your poem makes no sense to me right now.
Because I'm really tired, I had to read your analysis thing, and yeah, it makes sense now. Goodnight.
It's interesting, and after reading the alaysis I understood it a lot more, quite good and girls are what most my poems are about (more along the lines of what one or two of them did)
