Ive really been enjoying all the various defense maps on bnet lately so I decided to make one myself. this is my first attempt so i'm not sure about difficulty lvls but its otherwise a fairly thoroughly finished map, theres ban feature, lights, hp meter, upgrade buildings, unit selection, skip round. although I havent had the opportunity to test it, it should remove all attacks from a side if a player leaves in the middle of a fight.
if I could get feedback on lvl difficulty/trigger fine tuning I'd really appreciate it.
Really, nothing special about this map, just as every other defence map out there. You shouldn't create defences if they aren't unique, and at least not for SEN.
is it really necessary to crush everyones first creation? have you even tried playing this map yet? of all the D maps I've ever played on bnet, ive yet to find one that incorporates all the options I put into this one, that kinda makes it unique. so what if its one among many other D maps, doesnt mean its not fun. besides, something tells me, even you didnt start creating maps by trying to create something like the monopoly maps i've been reading about on here, everyone starts somewhere.
I didn't want to crush your dream, I just said it's not very unique. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I guess a lot of b.net people will play it. To get more people to download, you might want to add this
template.
And by the way, the first map I started making was an RPG that was supposed to be something like Crescent Dyne, but I quit production.
I agree on what cheat says but this is my opinion on this map
Weak
-You just used square terrain boring
-Hardly any unit changes in fact a person could lose on the first level
-People can wall in this D which is noobish to the max
-The map looks ugly
- I rate this map 1.5/10
Strong
-If this is your first time it may be good "but" this map looks rushed
-Stacking is nice
isnt there a four way defence?
i cant keep track ughhhhhh
There are lots of four way defences out there.
