Europe 3500 - Resistance

Basicly, it will play like any tactical game with a few differences. It takes place in 3500 AD and the human race is in shambles. We have been bombarded by alien attacks and Now the last stronghold of Humans is Europe. The Aliens, who i have decided to call the plagued ones, are in control of Spain, Africa, The middle East, Russia, Finland, Turkey, and the rest of the world. All that the humans have left is Central Europe, France, Italty, England, and Sweden and Norway. There are 3 players on each side. The players who are human can pick between The Human Resistance Alliance (Germany, france, poland, denmark, austria, and sweden), Italy(which also controls a large portion of the balkans and greece), and England (Which controls sweden and iceland also).

As The Plagued Ones (comprised mostly of Zerg Units), you can pick between the Red Plague, The Green Plague, and the Black Plague. The Black Plague is Russia and finland, The Green Plague is Spain and west africa, the Red Plague is East africa, ME, and turkey.

Each Side has a superpower, the superpower for the humans is the Human Resistance Alliance, the one for the Plagued Ones is The Black Plague.

This map will be different from some other tactical maps because not only will u be able to build units, but you can only get your special units from spawning.
THis will limit the amount of special units you are able to have. In this way, which cities you control directly influences the way you play the game.

i'm guessing your just going to use the regular diplomacy map for this?

sounds ok, i think you might want to work on the alien names though.

Id suggest using a production template http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=23033 but good luck with this I like diplo maps so if you need a tester I can help you test it

yeah thanks im actually using a combination of SCXtra-edit and SCMDraft for the map and i have changed the alien names dont worry. its more like a ww2 map than a diplomacy.

Sounds a lot like Resistance Fall of Man on the PS3.

Why use both? Just use SCmdraft its 10x better then xtra editor in fact X-tra is trash.

i disagree. they both have their uses. im a newb at triggers so i use xtra for that and then i do my terrain on scmdraft

ADDITION:
oh and its based on fall of man wink.gif sort of. thats where i got the idea from at least.

yeh i'd like to help too, love diplo.

btw: the new scmdraft kicks every other editors ass.

btw again: the new scmdraft now added a Classic Trigger editor, so it can do everything that scxe and starforge can do, and more

Sounds like an interesting concept, but it seems like all you have is the story.
I'd like to see more of what the players will have to do..
Also a production template couldnt hurt.
Great story though.
