Staredit Network -> Ideas -> SEN Clan?

You guys ever thought about a SEN Clan? For Expert Mapmakers and select people? I think it would be a good way to spread the site around bnet and to increase mapmaking skills. We Could have experts of categories like UMS or Melee and like Survival and Massers. They could teach other members and such. It might be interesting. I know i'm new to the site but i look forward to contributing lots to the site.

A horrible idea, people would just join it because they are on SEN, for example Chef is one of those clans, everybody joined because the new fad amongst a lot of people was to say [=]:]. It would be pointless, and frankly SEN is quite dead and all though some good map makers, it is still plagued with countless noobs.

The perfect crap. First of all, people would join SEn just to get into the clan. Second, why the **** would random people on battle.net check out SEN and become a member just because SEN clan made a good map? I've never even looked at a single clan page just because I saw a good map they've made. Third, most people on battle.net couldn't care less if someone made a good RPG, people play easy defences and easy bounds all along. And last, if the clan made a crap map, all of SEN's reputation would be lost.

lol srry i brought it up. but it says "for expert mapmakers and select people" so not anybody would be able to join in. But about the popularity thing, people might see us in channels and look at profiles and see us tlakin about staredit.net so they might go there...

Define 'expert'. My level (mastered every action and condition and can work out all the bugs in a map before I start) or the mappers better than me (Urmom, Shocko, Zeratul-101 just to name a very few)

To add to Grand's post, what exactly makes you think you would be included in this clan if it were to be created?

Besides, I'd rather not have some of the newbs on B. Net going here and getting a hold of some of the unlocked maps we have at SEN, like I like to release my unlocked maps on SEN but the locked maps on B.Net
