Storyline / Introduction

What would the Players do in this game?

Players will compete in a race around the board

Features

-Player Interface
How will the Players play the game?

Players will start by having to role a 1 or a 6 to move 1 piece out of "Home" after they get out, they have to get all the way around the board. If you land on a spot that already has a player on it, that player, that player is sent to start. Once they get all the way around the board they move into the "finish" zone. The first player with all 4 pieces in the finish wins.

Note: if you roll a 1 or a 6 when you already have a piece out you will have a choice of taking another piece out or just moving.

-What's new in your map that others have not done before?
Noone has made the game trouble yet (or so have i heard)

Wow trouble! I hate that board game.... This map has some neat ideas, but the game sounds so simple... Rolling 1-6..

I'm eager to see how it turns out, I haven't played that game in ages.

The only hard part is the fact that there is 4 different pieces owned by each player, so i need to get a way so you can decide which one you want to move

Well, you can have a unit which can morph. And make it morph ontop of the piece you would want to move. OR you can select it by having each piece a certain number by having each piece a different number.

Different unit named a different number.

Morphing units sounds like the best idea, although burrow detection would be easier (You wouldn't have to re-create the unit).

EDIT: The best I can say is good luck. SC board games always turn out quite lame, it's usually just watching dice roll and watching units move.

Its like a Mutalisk which can morph into a Devourer and Guard. Just make it so that if it brings either a Guard or Devo make it select that piece. BUT only pick one of the two morphing units and cancel the other one out.

So they morph and move the guardian to the piece they want to move?

You morph to select the piece you want to move, and then do you regular moving triggers.

or you could technically move a different location on each one of them, but that would look very bad in my opinion. Morphing a unit like a mutalisk would be okay, but that sort of looks bad in my opinion too tongue.gif a hydralisk looks better morphin, but it's not as movable as a mutalisk. Swarm and Disruption Web are other ways you could do it, maybe even interceptors (not definite) and i know two other ways you could do it, but of course that would mean telling you the systems before they have even been released to the public tongue.gif
