I have to say Starcraft, followed by Warcraft III. If you want campaigns or awesomely customizeable gameplay, Warcraft III is the way to go. I can't conceive of doing half of the stuff out there for WIII in SC. But for a good game of standard melee play, you just can't beat Starcraft.

Diablo: A good story imo, a big minus that you can't run.

Dont need that much units anyways. 100 max unit level is enough to kill 15 players.
Warcraft III runs on a completely different engine with Starcraft. But you can still find similarities. It's from the same company... wth do you expect?

Starcraft is the best 
. You should have put an option for each WarCraft game 
because WC2 is quite fun 
but WC3 has ugly cartoonish graphics 
(and no big armies 
) and is only redeemed by it's extreme customizeability (typo in that word? 
) with the World Editor .
