Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Order to Attack

Hi!
I want some marines to attack me. I put an location on my SCV but when I order them to attack that location They don't kill anything in there way. They just ignore it. But if someone shot at them They gegin to shoot but only that marine that have been shoted at.
I want it to be as if I push attack on a lockation in the game. but it isn't now. I found that it works if I order the marines to patrol to that location. Do I have to do so? It's more complicated with patrol because I don't want them to go back and there again all the time after. I know I can fix it with triggers but is it some other way?

The Patrol/Attack thing hasn't changed... There are plenty of topics about this subject, I don't know why your issue order to attack isnt working, but if it isn't just use patrol with more locations... Ie: Issue order patrol to location 1, issue order to patrol to location 2, etc.

Yeah, the trigger action "Attack" is different from the in-game "press A then click" action.

Use Patrol and add a Move or Attack order at the destination location, that's the most realistic you can get.

well from what im reading this might just be a simple forgotten: set player to enemy?

Naw, it doesn't matter if the player is set to enemy. Units only attack when provoked with the Order: Attack trigger.

Just order patrol and once they get there change it to order attack. Most the time you don't have to do this because most maps that use order patrol have the units die before they even get to where they were ordered to.
