BREAKDOWN AND OBJECTIVES
___________________________________________________________
each player starts out with 2 civs in their respective teams platform where you choose your unit. the beginning is usually a scramble to get the unit you want before you get rushed. there are boundaries around the main arena play that kill any air unit trying to leave it, so don't think you can go and kill the other teams civs. you get a civ every three kills and up to 10 civs past the starting two. so if you can hold your opponent off until he runs out of units, the game can be a piece of cake. the basic objective is to get one ground unit starting from your base, through the rusty pit maze (where you can VERY easily be ambushed) and into your opponents finish line. The map is set up so that no matter which route you go or set up there is another way you can go. there are two entrances to every base and it's a good idea in this game to keep in mind that telling your units to attack to a location is a useful tool but bad for rushing.

BASIC STRATEGIES
___________________________________________________________
okay there are several ways you can play. the first thing you want to do (unless in a hurry) is check all the units available to you and weigh out the pluses and minuses of each. don't get all scouts or battlecruisers because if you do you will have no way of crossing the finish line in your opponents base to victory. personally my favorites are hydras and ghosts, but the reavers, lings, and marines aren't bad either. it can get to be a burden running all the way to the unit you want so a good idea would be to send one civ to a nearby less convenient unit and another to set off to a better used unit.

THERE ARE 3 BASIC THINGS YOU CAN DO
1) camp, a base is harder to get into if you never leave it. this limits your mobility however but you have high ground making it easy to just attack into the rusty pit lying just infront. it's also harder to guard a rush if your guys are close to the end since it is then easier to just run past them.

2) ambush, set up units at key points in the pit maze, an ambush is next to impossible to see comming, however the down side is if the opponent knows their way around the maze, they can always just take the alternate route

3) RUSH! an easy way to win (although somewhat irritating and somewhat unsportsmanlike) is to just get zerglings since they are near where your civs spawn, and RUSH! you will start out with a fair ammount. just pray they didn't choose reavers lol

THE FINISH
_________________________________________________________

the finish line is very hard to miss, just charge up the ramp on the far side from your base and it will be the big checkered area. don't panic if you don't win right away upon entering, i added an entertaining element by making it so you need exactly one ground unit. so while all your units are just holding position in there and being killed off one by one, when your enemy has killed off all but one the game will end....or you can just make all the other ones run out of the finish line for a quick ending.
