just a suggestion, using bbcode to quickly create colour
example:

yes i know this is probably useless, but maybe make it for more advanced colours? like the ones that arent listed, or even add the colours that arent listed to the color pull-down when making a post?

Either memorize the long list of names of colors yourself or experiment with hex values. And rather than use the drop-down menu, it's more convenient to type out the BBcodes instead (at least for me it is).

Have some text written, select it, then hit one of the BBCode buttons. Tada, the tags go around the highlighted text.

I found this idea quite more useful than the other one.

A color consists of 3 elements. Take for example: #FF0000. That is the color red. You can easily tell what a color may look like from its number by knowing that the first 2 numbers is the red channel, the second two the green channel, and the 3rd two the blue channel. So that #FF0000 is red, #00FF00 is green, and #0000FF is blue. These are hexadecimal numbers that range from 0 to 255 (0 being 00, 255 being FF).
Hexadecimal numbers count up like this: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F 10 11 12, etc. So when you want, say, a purple color you just combine some red and blue and you get some purple (#CA00CA).
There, now you have all the colors you would ever want. Can we close this?
