It crashes if you make it small enough. Which isn't that small.

2 GB of Ram = Apathy tongue.gif

Pretty nice, but I don't see the reason for monitoring temperatures manually unless changing clock speeds/gpu coolers, so it's not really a required everyday application (besides, all the new NVidia drivers come with temperature monitors, and they monitor the CPU, chipsets, etc. as well).

And when I'm changing clock speeds, my BIOS has a built in temperature monitor for nearly all of my internal components. :/

Actually, this is the only BIOS I've ever gotten to use, is that a standard feature?

Maybe not all internal components.. but definately like CPU and stuff...

You can change clock speeds on an Alienware..?

Yes.

I don't know all the temperatures, it's been awhile since I've been in there... It has at least 5 components, but I can't remember them all.

Why did you get an Alienware if you were only getting an X1300 card?

The card came a year after I blew up my original. The Alienware is almost 2 years old.

I have HDD and GPU temps in tasktray because I like to be able to check, since my case doesn't have that much airflow

Ha ha, I have 7 case fans, and the top and bottom are pretty much open (except for a grill), and the front and back aren't constricting to airflow either. It's going to collect dust like a... crap... it's going to collect a lot of dust! However, I'm not worried about airflow one bit.

Doesn't seem to work for me. Then again, I'm not surprised, I have a geforce4 mx 420 (64mb vram), i got it at a flea market kinda thing.
