If I have hyper trigs running in the player 3 slot, is it ok to have waits being used in the player 1 slot. (or any slot other than player 3).

Yes, all triggers will run superfast, but waits in all other slots will not be affected, but if you put waits in the slot with the hypertriggers it will cause massive wait blocks.

I'd still recommend against using multiple waits at the same time under 1 player with hypers, even if the hypers aren't for that player.

I'm not so sure..but I think Hypers will work jsut fine if they are put in a Human player slot as long as it is the last trigger. I think I saw that in one of MysTiques maps or w/e the sn was.

I've never tried it but it sounds like useful info for a map that will have 8 Human Players.

But wouldn't the triggers slow down for a second during the period that the other wait is running that is above the hypers?

I don't think so. That is why it should be the last trigger. This should be applied to any map that has Hypers also. I think that waits being the last triggers helps.

I usually make maps with many computers (often times all 7) so I just devote a computer slot to hyper triggers.
