Anyone know of how to get Starcraft or any Starcraft third-party programs (Map editors) to crash via Buffer Overflow when loading a Map?

It needs to be via Buffer Overflow.

The map doesn't have to be playable either... but I would prefer it would be.

Thank you in advanced.

I am just testing out a concept I have.

I don't want to go too much in detail it's a hard concept. I just want to know if anyone has gotten Starcraft, StarForge, StarEdit, Xtra-Editor, etc. to crash via Buffer Overflow... and most importantly how they did it.

I'm pretty sure thats what happens when you place certain extended player units on the map.

Try placing a unit for player 6000 or something and see.

There are only 256 players, it will loop over. Anyway, there has to be some extended player or unit that will crash. Just place a bunch of random and unusual stuff.

Extended players, extended units, extended terrain, and extended colors are all examples of buffer overflows in Starcraft. The easiest buffer overflow to use however, is EUDs.
