Are you asking on how to get a weapon like a Yamoto Cannon to be fired from a Marine? Or are you asking about how the weapon attacks/looks?

Also, I recommedn you use Datedit, Aresenal 3 is very outdated compared to it.

IIRC, that is the game which is first wellmade 3dbase RTS-game
so i think he's talking about modify sc one of weapon looks like TA weapon graphical effect
and maybe he includes weapon's amount and moving phase

If the attacks were custom images you could have to copy those images(grp files) to your mod otherwise its a dat file change

[offtopic] I think arsenal 3 should be deleted from the dldb, cause so many keep using it when datedit is uncomparably better.

and the next version of datedit can, its just not finished yet.

Why would you want fast building units? It ruins the balance of the game.

Instant building units? What is that?

I think he means "Building Units Instantly". As I said, why would you want to build units or buildings in less than a second?

The 1/15th of a second build time. Thats as instant as it will get.

Actually if you were to set SCV build time to 1 and then go into a single player game and do the "operation cwal" code, the scv would build in about 1 millisecond or less, not 1/15 of a second. Although there seems to be a slight chance of crashing if you do that too much.

There are reasons, I've used it a few times in Nanite Wars... wink.gif

Here's an idea for the use:

Have a 'tech' that to use it, you build a certain unit. This unit is invincible, invisible, unselectable, and has no line of sight. You use triggers to say that if a player commands 0 of this unit, set sheilds to 0. Then you get a sheild generator tech!

As long as each race has instant building units it is impossible to win.You can win if your lucky but you would need selection hack to win quickly.
