ok, im at my dad´s cousins´s house and their computer has a brightness issue. Its not bright enough!! i looked on every setting and all of them are set to max, the moniter, the video card, the display, everything!

I think the video card might be broken or something but if you have an idea then PLEASE RESPOND! i will be leaving in 1 or 2 hours and after that time i will not be able to give you information regarding the computer. After that period, plz keep posting solutions as i can talk to him on msm and tell him what to do.

Well, if it's not bright enough, try disconnecting the monitor from the PC. Try to adjust the settings on the monitor - if it has a built-in menu, just look at that and see if that is bright enough by itself. If not, then your monitor is broken. This hardly sounds like a graphics card issue as it's still displaying any output at all. If it's LCD, the back light might be dead. I know many LCD monitors carry them to vastly increase the brightness.
