It seem's SCWizard has released a map unprotector for mac users, its called Mapkit i saw him shouting in shoutbox. It seems that these map unprotectors getting out of hand on SEN, when clearly said by some members of staff that we dont support that type of program. Yet keep coming back to get people d/l stuff. Sigh what to do..

Seriously though, it's probably just OSMAP ported to mac and little more. It's not any more of a problem than OSMAP already is anyway.

Not really, different coding to OSMAP and SCWizard made it himself from basic. I keep update tabs on what happens at Maplantis =/

He released it a while ago, but he hasn't released a mac version yet (though if he really is using wxwidgets then that shouldn't be hard). Who cares, just ignore him unless he's directly linking it here (which I haven't seen yet).

And really, as Tuxlar sarcastically pointed out, there are only like five of us Mac users on SEN that could use it so its not like it will have the same impact that OSMap did.

True, he hasnt linked it yet. Soon as he does then i guess we will take from there. For now i guess we just need watch what people do..

Not to mention macs just got their first basic editor that works. (Including the regular editor, which blizzard never updated once, and still crashes whenever I try to change unit properties, among other things.)

Mac users are about as much a threat to your maps as that loaf of bread in your kitchen is.

Doesn't matter if it's on Windows or a Macintosh that affects 5 people. If it breaks policy, deal with it.

All it can do right now is decompile the CHK and edit strings, anyway.

It's a map editor thingy... I helped him with Autostacker for a string editor. O.o
