Hey, this has been pissing me off for quite some time and is why I like mp3 players so much more than ipods. How can I have two separate libraries of music, one for me and one for my sister? I want it so that it displays the libraries next to each other on the Itunes left bar thing.

Firstly, iPods are MP3 players.

Secondly, to set different libraries for each iPod connected to iTunes, press ctrl + N to create a new playlist. This will be found underneath 'Recently Played' and such on the nav bar. Name the playlist whatever you want, and fill it with whatever songs you want. Go to the Music screen under your iPod and set it to sync songs only from selected playlist.

Not in the sense that you can drag and drop music files from any computer onto them and then drag and drop from the mp3 player to another computer. I dont think Ipods play mp3's either.

On my Ipod would all the music be under Songs or would I have to go to Playlists and then find the song?

I have no clue since I don't use iPods, but...
iPods play mp3s.
An MP3 player plays mp3s... iPod is an mp3 player. Not all mp3 players can just drag and drop files onto them like some sort of removable drive.

I thought it converted the mp3's to some format.

Nope. On your iPod, all the music would be under songs, yes.

Actually, you can do all of the above with an ipod or any other mp3 player.

But itunes wont let you open someone elses ipod in it, however if you switch to another program on your computer like musikCube you can just add your ipod to the list of places where it looks for music. Be warned, only Itunes can play its crappy DRM, you'll have to get something to remove fairplay to be able to play them.

I haven't used it myself, but I think Tunebite can remove DRMs by recording the file and saving it without any protection.

I don't think it's free, either.

It's illegal to share the music too, just so you know.
