Well, many of the toys for girls either teach them to be mothers or whores. At least this toy had the guts to be totally honest about its message, unlike the Bratz toyline.

Typical prude.
Since when do children have innocence? I can't recall ever being "innocent" and I can clearly remember my fourth birthday. Naive != innocent.

...anyways, let's just say that young girls grows up a lot faster than boys even if they're halfway to an adult.

Bratz is the spawn of most things that turn girls into fashion whores. They have a T.V show, toys, clothing ware and so much other crap. Your right doodan this toy did have the guts to speak out but its still unusual to know how this was marketed to four years olds . But hey on this T.V show i saw a 2 year old girl who dressed like a tramp and told her parents she wants more short clothing wear.
BTW: In this topic are we allowed to use the word whore just in case it may offend any feminines here.

... Just ... But anyways, the average age of whorification (whorification (HORE-ih-fih-KAY-shuhn), fic. n. 1. To make someone or something a whore, whorish.) nowadays seems to be around seven or eight, and it's dropping... I don't see that as a good thing.

Yeah, she started when she was 7. I could tell from the 10 pounds of makeup and glitter on her face everyday. She pretty much represents everything I hate about society right now.

From what I have gathered, advertising is promoting promiscuous behavior, but not sex. They are promoting teases, not nymphomaniacs. Yet many people assume that the two are unanimous.
At any rate, these toys don't end up in every girls household, and I like to think that it ends up in the spoiled girls houses, in which they are given money and little supervision. In my opinion its raising the idea that women are not meant to hold a job and are only eyecandy. I suppose it could be considered a reaction against rights for women.

Of course advertising doesn't promote that behavior, its music that promotes sex. Just look at garbage like Britney Spears.

Because some of us don't like to see whores walking down the street.
