At last, a map I really want to finish.

Modern Combat: Yarmunsk

Storyline

The year is 2014, and war rages. The UCO (United Country Orginization), fight the GNA (Grand Nation Assosiation). They battle for resources left on the Earth.
Yarmunsk is a city in south-eastern Russia along the coast, where GNA keep their main power generators. The UCO find out about this place and launches an attack on the city. Fight in the battle for Yarmunsk.

Specifications

Map class: Tactical Warfare
Map size: 192x192

Gameplay

Each player owns a Commando Drone, and uses it to deploy various things on the battlefield. It can be used to bring Medics, set out Machine Gun Nests, call in Air Strikes and more. To use these skills however, you need battlepoints (minerals), which you get from completing objectives.
The players don't own anything that can attack for themselves, but have camputer players that owns all units. The computer player has the same colour as the respective human player. The computer is set to do various things like attack or patrol, and gets reinforcements every now and then.

This sounds like Battlefield. The map sounds like it would be alot of fun to play, so I hope you finish it and it turns out well.

Seems like a fun map. I love tatical warefare maps, when it's not rigged. The 2nd screen shot looks kind of boring though, kind of looks like a massing game.

To EcHo: The computer moves around by itself, so there's no massing involved. I know the second screen is a bit boring, but I didn't spend a lot of time taking screens. Started the map today anyways, and I've think I've come quite far, but more than 2 screenshots can't be asked for.
I'm not making this map rigged in any way, no cheats, no over-powered units, nothing of that. Testing is going to take a long time.
To iHaveNoRegrets: I got the idea from Battlefield, and I was supposed to make a Battlefield map, but it turned out different.

ADDITION:
Progress:Added progress to map title, currently working on AI.

ADDITION:
Progress: All right, first terrain draft finished. Nothing extended yet though.
