Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> [SOLVED] Arbiter Stasis
Report, edit, etc...Posted by R0y- on 2007-01-26 at 20:06:27
Hello, I am having a problem that I hope to be solved. I'm not one to normally ask questions, but I can't seem to do this one.

How can I make it so that a protoss arbiter owned by a computer casts "Stasis Field" on a unit? My terms are very low, so feel free to state any out-there question.

If there is a way to have a unit with the stasis on them without it needing to be cast, which I highly doubt, please tell me how to do that.

I'm sure I could use an Ai script that would make the arbiter cast it, but unlike recall or disruption web it's not simple... I failed to find one, so here I am biggrin.gif

I hope I didn't leave any details out... If you need more information just ask.

ADDITION:
Well I got tired of waiting and started experimenting again. Apparently if you have another arbiter, the enemy arbiter has a built-in Ai to stasis the second arbiter. So, to make it stasis a unit, you have an arbiter above the unit. When the arbiter is attacked by the cloaked unit, it will stasis the arbiter, and since your arbiter is above the unit, the unit you want gets stasised. O.o I solved it biggrin.gif

Now here is an Assistance topic you don't see everyday.

Let this be a model example to all of you out there with simple questions that can be solved by yourself in less time than it takes for you to describe those problems.
