So many of you were aware of my topic about my sadie hawkin's situation.

Outcome:

She didn't ask me. So I went snowboarding instead. On sunday, I was watching TV, when she called me up. She just wanted to talk. We were talking about random things when out of no where she brought up sadie hawkins, she asked me if I went, I said no. She said she went and that made me really depressed, I said I had to go and I hung up.

How am I supposed to take that?

I mean, she calls me just to talk now, which is a plus
But, not only did she not ask me to sadies, but she just HAD to bring it up

lol, chicks are like that. She was probably surprised that you didn't show up. Did you mean to say that YOU were depressed? Or was it her that was depressed?

Good going on ending that awkward conversation yourself. She's probably trying to shake off the knots in her stomach as we speak.

Asking out a person, especially amongst younger people is quite difficult compared to us older people. I just walk up, ask her if she wants to go and deal with whatever the circumstance it. I remember in my younger, unexperienced days that all I thought about was "What if she says no?"

She called you, which means that she shows some interest in you. She probably didn't ask you out because she was afraid.

My advice is to forget about it, starting a relationship is all about the good times.

Talk to her, call her, gain back her confidence and more. It doesn't matter if you call her for something specific or not, just call her and start some random conversation. It should eventually lead up to something.

I'm not a fan of phone conversation, I just prefer to talk face-to-face, but phone conversation does help quite a bit.

The difference there is that you probably won't see that person again after, whereas asking someone out let's say from school, you see that person every day after she rejects you.

Keg how long did it take for you to figure that out tongue.gif I am 16 and I have known all that stuff for quite some time. My only downfall when it comes to girls is I am shy at asking them out, but when I put myself into the position I could get away with murder with girls, they are really easy. But I love my girlfriend (3 months today) smile.gif

I'd forget about her if I were you. Life is too short for girls that don't make life more enjoyable for you (most of the time, anyways ;p)
