So I recently find myself doing new stuff (get used to this) I usually pick up something and start doing weird stuff, so now I want a good sound recorder, Windows Sound recorder suits my needs since I only want to record stuff, the problem with that is that It only records a minute and then stops and you have to press the button again to keep recording.
I would appreciate if you tell me what programs out there are good for recording, I don't want a complex program, recording will be just find (I don't need a really heavy program with tons of functions I won't use)

GoldWAV, COOL95, and Sonar/Cakewalk are good for recording.

I always just slammed together a bunch of long .wavs and recorded over the entire length.
