Can anyone help me get the Raider GRP file to work with the valkyrie!? Or atleast tell me where to find a working file for it. Because I'm getting to confused with trying to get the beta GRP here of the Raider to work for the Valk. Also, I want to get myself a cool GRP file to make the BC look cool.

One way of making it work is this:

1) Place the Raider graphic in the units\terran folder and rename it "bomber.grp."

2) In the Valkyrie's iscript, remove the line containing "imgol" in the "Walking" animation. For some reason, the engine graphics will crash when used with the Raider; I think it has something to do with .lo* files.

3) Compile the iscript and place it appropriately.

4) I assume you know what to do from here.

Ya, the problem is that I don't know how to use the Iscripting thing yet. Is there a tutorial here about how to use it?

What I always do when I don't know what to do with an iscript is look at a unit with the iscript appropriate to what I want to do and learn from it. I'm not sure if you could get the Raider iscript from beta SC to look at? I'll try to find a tutorial for you.

This tutorial helped me a lot with iscripting. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but I figure having a basic understand of some of the iscripting stuff might help you with other stuff.

That tutorial didn't help me... I am trying to make it so the Raider GRP doesn't crash the game when I tell it to move.

Ok! Heres what you do! You open your BrooDat.mpq, find the Valk file which should be... unit\terran\bomber.grp. DELETE that file, then rename the add in the raider file with that SAME NAME! that should do it...

There is no need to delete any files from the main mpq archives...

No it wont. You see the raider has a higher number of frames and needs to be modified so that its frames are equal to that of the valks. Youll have to talk with Voyager or one of the more experianced modders for the specifics as i dont know what exactly to do.

just edit frame number of play frame order in that iscript to make equal frames
for target unit which u want to make

I said I don't know how to do Iscripting! That's why I just asked for a tutorial!

Never mind guys, I got it to work. ^_^
