Well I got starcraft and broodwar to install on my labtop after a good week of finding the problem.Well after it installed i seen i have to get all my maps and all on it so i closed sc and shut my labtop down.After I sent my email with the link and went to the labtop to load sc it had that error that says cannot find the data please reinstall sc and try again if it protists you may have a virus well I know I don't have a virus anymore and it don't want to connect So help me I beg you people who are probaly smarter then b.net on computers.

Run a virus and spyware check. If that doesn't help, reinstall. And if all else fails, buy another copy. And btw, it's laptop, not labtop.

i have this same exact problem.

is your starcraft.exe file 1.32 mb?

The default directory is C:\Program Files\Starcraft\

It should be 1.16mb, or at least mine is.
