It's not like it'd be particularly hard for the banner, but it could get cramped in the post headers. I could do it pretty easily, but I'm lazy.

Javscript. The source of the image changes on mouseover or on click.

In response to the first thing, web 3.0 ;o. We haven't decided yet, we're hoping the users will take care of that.
In the second thing, it's a mouseover, dummy.
