Coming soon...
F-Zero SCX
StarCraft to the max!

This game will be my attempt to recreate what may be one of the greatest racing games made for any console. This game includes...

1.) 4-5 (dunno how many I can fit) Tracks
2.) 6 Player Compatibility
3.) Over 20 Cars on the same track
4.) Speed systems
5.) Crashing/Wipeout/Control/Energy systems
6.) 6 cars with all different stats
7.) Turbos
8.) Traps
9.) Head on Collisions
10.) 5 Laps of Mayhem
11.) Custom Terrain (?)
12.) Jumps
13.) Whatever else I can think of

If there are any suggestions, I would love to hear them. Unfortuantly though, I am unable to test the map on my own, so if I could get someone to do that for me, I'll be grateful. (Shouldn't that be spelled "Greatful"?)

gl with the maps sounds good
btw i dont think it should be spelled greatful cuz the word great doesnt really fit the meaning, you rnt full of great happy.gif how will controlling the unit work, will you move it urself? and im assuming the sum of the 20 cards r comps right?

Well, do you want full of shredded cheese?

The sum of the twenty cars will be computers, yes, and you move your own car on your own. The thing is, you can only see the car and what's around it...AKA Center Location on Player.

BTW I need a list of all the vehicle speeds of the game.
Vehicles I need: Reaver, Tank, Vulture, Goliath, Upgrade Vulture, Ultralisk, Upgrade Ultralisk.

If I can get how many squares they move in a second, that would be cool.

The only speed sytem I thought of was...
Have it so you have a location that is following your player NOT ON HYPERTRIG.
Now, with it off you you gain some minerals and with it on you you lose some minerals. Now, When it reaches a certain point you become a faster unit. It gets slower the more it tops out (the mineral gaining, I mean) so you have to keep moving more to keep your speed.

Now for damage:
You get a certain amount of Vespene.
There is a Hyper Trig location following you.
If a player gets into your location you lose a certain amount of Vespene depending on your speed and the enemy's speed. Then both your vehicles are set on Hyper Trig Junkyard Dog mode for a certain periond, depending on how fast your car is going and your car's grip rating. After time has expired you can steer your car like a normal, albeit speeding, driver. Hitting mines and computer cars makes the object you hit explode and make you wipe out as said above. BTW you can still try to control your car when it is wiping out, it'll just be real hard.

I'm just curious, but how will you have certain locations on hypertriggers and not others? blink.gif

Have one center location trigger owned by Hyper player and the other one on a not Hyper player... closedeyes.gif

Have you even tested that? Just so you know, it doesn't work that way.

Can there be more than one unit? Like, say 2 vultures? If there could everyone would most likely go for the vultures/ultralisks and the other units would be left out. I wish there was an acceleration thing on starcraft so the longer a unit's been running without stop the faster it would get.

That wouldn't work, Once its hypered, its hypered for all players regardless of who owns the hypertriggers. wink.gif

I read something different on this site before...it said that only the hypered player has the hypertiggers on...

Hyper triggers, once made, will work for all players, although you could add a wait to the one you don't want hypered.

Have cloaked units and always move unit to the location following the cloaked air unit. You can cloak almost anything so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. The you can use Bolt_Head's spinner thingy to make the ground unit face a different direction. You can also use a combination of units for 1 vehicle and build customized vehicles??
