Well, time for the Uber debate, which is your fav?
I choose Windows 98, for me, its the most stable, fastest, non crashing, not sucking, not exploding your computer and draining its resources like the uber Mengsk OS. ...yeah.
Well, post yours.
I use the best Winblows existant! 98
xP is ugly and suckyzor
EDIT: If not for the fact that lots of games aren't compatible with Linux, I'd use it, though v_v
While I prefer 98, and am even partial to XP Service Pack 2 (which I'm running right now), I'd have to say that my fave is Mac OS X. It's simple, aesthetically pleasing, and incredibly easy to work with.
Note:
I voted the OS I use, rather than the best, ooops
Best is Linux or Unix
I uses XP and it r0xx0rs you boxx0rs with my skin and wallpaper.
Im not sure which is the "best" but I set up a multi boot sequence on my comp so I can boot up win98 or winXP. I use 98 sometimes because certain progs dont work on xp.
I like XP a little better than 98 because it can be customized and stuff.
btw, no OS should ever crash your comp if you clean it up, like deleting those useless files in the recycle bin and disk defrag.
Win XP Profesional.
If you know how to use it(how to really use it not how to manage with it) and customize it then WIN XP PRO is best.
Then againg I only had all Win from 95-XP but I never use mac or linux.
No matter which one i choose i will never choose ME. ME has extremely gay system, with so many bugs and viruses. It can't handle some stuff and freezes and crashes so often.
Windows XP Prof.
I would say Linux, but I have it installed and it isn't working with my wireless card. Thus, I dont use it.
here is a story about windows professional i had just yesturday at school.
I was in programming class. I went on the internet to look something up. After 10 seconds, nothing came up, so I tried to close it. IE crashed. I try to open it again. Nothing comes up. 4 second later, the same crash window shows up. Now I just sit there trying to figure out what happened when the SAME CRASH window comes up AGAIN. WHEN I DIDNT DO ANYTHING. all i could say was .. what the

.
if i had to choose an OS, i would choose linux, but from windows (sincei t's the most popular) the best is by far Windows 98 (at least it doesn't crash when i don't even touch anything)

Same here though, I clicked IE once and nothing happened for like 20 seconds. I did ctrl alt delete and then 50 IE's come up. Then this crashed msg comes up and i click on it. My comp freezes and then after 30 seconds finally all the IE's ended.
P.S. I think that comp is screwed. The only way i fixed it I formatted my C drive.
Well I am uber leet haxor cuz I made my own

, or I will claim that I did

Like I said it will only crash if you dont take care of it. If you defrag your comp at least 2-4 times a month and delete useless files then it wont crash.

OMFG YOU NOOBS MAC IS THE BOMB YOU ALL SUX0R YOU MOTHERF**KERS, I'LL KILL YOU ALL!!!
Hehe, i love that
Anyway, i love my XP, i havnt had any problems with it whatsoever yet, and i got a custom theme so it looks kool too!
I like Windows XP Home i have it at home ( lol ) and ive never had any problems with it... well maybe a few but i fix them quick so they dont count
I like freeBSD, i use XP home on this computer but on my old i use freeBSD.

I agree with you, for a time I was a noob to the XP system and it was crashing alot so then I read the manuel (or at least the useful parts) and now its hasnt had a problem yet, although for some reason whener I open 3ds max and starcraft at the same time 3ds max has an error, but other than that its been bug free. So I like it + the fact that I customized some things to make it look better so now it r0xx0rs your boxx0rs.

I reject my vote.
Win XP Pro $ucks because I can't get Starcraft to install!!!!!!!!!!
Look at my Topic for more info.

...Ok, one of my comps that has XP (It has the best stats of the four in the house) I defrag, run scandisc, Adaware, Zone Alarms always on, McAffe, Spybot, Windows Optimizer, and one other thing, but it runs the crappiest.
You open IE, it crashes, you open SBC Yahoo! DSL, you can do stuff for five minutes, it crashes. I've even gone as far as reformatting it and putting everything usefal back on so my parents wouldn't notcie, and it still runs crappy. I think its just XP, and if it had 98 on it, it would be able to preform much better. The comp I'm using (With 98) has 1/5 the Processor, 1/2 the Ram, plus its an old Compaq 5461. It still runs better.
Shmeeps I think its just your computer...there seem to be a whole lot of other unadressed problems there. You should try convincing your parents to just wipe the hard drive clean (back to factory settings) and just reinstall everything from there. And make sure you dont have any shareware crap, that stuff seriously messes up a comp.

Uhh, I did that. Read the post, it says I reformatted my comp and installed all the useful crap back on.
Also, has anyone heard of a game called gamemaker? It's kinda neat, its just like Drag and Drop code to make games, with more advanced code. But people have made their own OS's with it before, I haven't used them, but that's still pretty cool.
ooh this poll is so hard to awnser, since i use 3 os's i'll just go with xp.
