Ok, one more poll. I use IE, just because I've used other ones and they run really crappy on my comp. Soo, yeah.

I've learned to like Opera. I like the interface more than Mozilla for some reason.

you should have made this multiple choice. I use Firefox and IE, i just use firefox a little more because of the tabs. Though I lie IE alittle better because it already has all the plugins and stuff installed.

I havent tried any of the other ones yet, and I probaly only will if its worth using. (like something special about it)

IE is great except 98% of all adware and spyware is IE targeted. I run Firefox. Free, and AdWare free.

I figured if I stick it out on IE and everyone else switches, then I'll have the non spyware targeted browser. biggrin.gif

Proud user of Mozilla Fire Fox though it does not have the glow feature but thats ok, whenever i want to see it, i'll open up IE and look at my awesome glowy name.

Sure, if you wanna stick with IE for another 10+ years or so, seeing as how those spyware and adware usually go thru IE to get into Windows. closedeyes.gif

Er, no; Firefox still lets you decide where to download your files.

Tools > Options > Downloads > "Ask me where to save every file"

Doesnt hurt to look through all the options... ermm.gif

Ya but IE lets you choose w/o going into options, i find it easier to just use IE instead of having to go into options every time you want to save a file to a different area.

d00d, did you even go into the options???
YOU NEED TO ONLY SET IT ONCE! *expletives about lazy people*

You probably misread his post; heres how it works. Options > Downloads > etc. You get the choice of files saving AUTOMATICALLY to one place, OR youre allow to pick where you want it to save, JUST LIKE IN IE. whoamg!!

I like Internet Exploser cause. When you enter a website. It will save a file when you rejoin the website again it will load up faster.

hmm. No ones using nescape? I swear it was popular several years ago. For me IE is the best.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by mobomojo on 2004-08-22 at 12:46:32
Um, no. It was never popular. A long time ago, probably around '98 and back, there were a lot more users then, but IE had always dominated.

The only reason it was popular was because the evil people in the school computer labs make you use it instead of IE because they're too lazy to get a firewall to protect their comps, and noone else uses Netscape so theres no spyware to go onto it and what not.
Big sentence, Eh?
