I just saw that my download was only 1.6 mb (LotR - The White Tree). This confused me because the one I gave you was 10 mb. I downloaded the one you have and it was 8000 kHz 16 bit mono while the one I gave you was 24000 kHz 16 bit stereo. Why did you change / what changed the .wav properties? God knows you have enough space, so why not keep it at decent quality? This is for the map makers out there, but if you need a donation THAT much, I can spare a few bucks.

You can use a seperate program other than Staredit to mess with sounds.

Yoshi rather have crappy sounding music that takes less space than nice music which take up more. It's his choice and it's his site. Your argument really doesn't exist actually.

Fine I guess no one should ever talk about how to make this site better, since as you pointed out: it's HIS website. I guess he is God and we can't even wonder at what might make this better. All hail the facist reign!

8.000khz is too low of a quality. It should be 22.050khz 16 bit mono for music if you want it to sound good. Also, with mono sounds, just play it twice at the same time and that should make it come out of both speakers to sound sorta like stereo. Things like beeps and stuff should get the lowest quality. Average sounds should get 16.000khz 16 bit mono, or if it will sound the same on 12.000 you could use that too.

Actually, music with heavy bass, like my LotR piece, sound like crap once you take it off of stereo.

Look I'm all for the good music, hell I love editing songs and listening to them. I have discussed this with yoshi before and with no luck. Facism must stay.
