Your grammar was bad too, why capitalize every word in a sentence too... Meh...

I didn't like it either. Grammar was terrible (some1?) and it didn't make any sense.

lol.. One of the toughest times in making a map is starting it.



On a side note: Grammar is very important in a map, usually if I see bad grammar, I think the maker is uneducated or didn't spend much time on it. (Bolt_Head is very bad at spelling, however he apparently checks all his spelling before he releases his map, because rarely does he have a mistake)

Hahaha, that would be the easiest thing for me to do... Finishing is what bothers me.

Don't quit, just revamp it. Make the story easier to understand. And yes this should be in Map showcase

Yeah, I don't believe its a random tip, but you should always put your text through a word processor to see if any mistakes are present. It doesn't take that long and you will end up with a more professional map.

ah.. nice for a first time? if it is.... if it isn't don't give up stop trying to make us feel bad because we don't really care if you give up or not...its if we give up. my grammar sucks but i do what bolt dose and check over it....

Map making takes committment, and if you can't learn some proper grammar then you might as well not even try map making. Have you ever seen a popular map with 10-year-old grammar?

rather than just throwing it all away, you should just improve it; ask for ideas, find ways to make it better, etc.

and this being the production thread, itd help if you give some info on what this is.

I didn't realize grammar could age. Don't listen to him, just put more time into your maps.

HEY THE THING IS AWSAME the guy with the stick is like crazy and the guy getting poked is like ow or huh? there there !!

For this, firstly, you asked people to watch it and then asked what they think. You couldn't expect every comment to be good. Some people are encouraging, some people are honest with critisism but constructive. If someone say it is not good and that really puts you down and believe you should trash your trailer away, maybe you really should. If you like dissing youself so much you could just do whatever you just said, quit starcraft. Say what you really mean, SEN is where you show your values. Your dream needs to be accomplished! Everyone here possibly possess similar dreams as yours. You don't just give up because someone say your map either "sucked" or "that was pure boring" or "i don't get a bit of this" because you learn from ever map you make (honestly you do) and your next map is always bound to be better.

Now a test run, that trailer "sucked".

However, I will state why. It is "not good" because you could improve it by improving your grammar (I know my grammar isn't very good as well), add more colour to your writing and add special effects.

Actually you can have really have bad spelling if it fits the map, as it were, though it works best when they are voiced, such as an old campaign i know, with a accent'd computer which was mad, and talked terribly strange, and you couldn't really read what he said, but got the point, and it created such atmosphere.

However i guess that isn't the point, still continue and fight through, my first real piece got put online and i hosted it and someone said "wat tis dis crapz? Spells is da crappers!"

I didn't make it COLOURED, and he got pissed off, i replied, what is wrong with Light Blue(1)?

Lol... is there even any difference between light blue(1) and light blue(2)? if there is i havent found it.

I bet General Mengsk put Light Blue 1 and Light Blue 2 in SCXE to screw with our heads and make us paranoid.

BTW, the grammarof the map...
