Plight of the Andronæ

Storyline:
To be released soon

Gameplay:

-Fighting Men:
You only control one man on the map at once. To change men, or 'Weapons' you unload a unit from a Dropship in the corner of the map.

-Weapons:
Weapons available include: Crossbow [Raynor], Longbow [Stukov], Longsword [Dark Templar], Daggers [Zealot] and Pike [Firebat]

-Fighting Party:
An assigned computer player will control auxillary units for you. They follow you around the map and attack enemies. As these men are not directly under your control, they do not receive your upgrades, but you do get experience for their kills. Units that can follow you include: Dog, Pikeman, Crossbowman, Longbowman, etc. MAX of 3 men following you at once. You can pick and choose this in a separate location on the map.

-Heal:
Heal at an Inn somewhere on the map. You have unallied vision with yourself and everyone on the map, and wait for a period of time, to wake up with full health for yourself and your party.

-Upgrade:
Enter a Blacksmith or a Forge to upgrade you weapons with your experience.

-Fighting [Three types]
The first type of fighting is done on the main map, you see a unit, your current weapon attacks, and you fight. The second is when you run into a unit owned by player 36, (Player 36 was chosen because of its ally status) This transports you to another location on the map, and you fight a series of units until they are all destroyed or you yourself die. The third type is when you are attacking a building (Specifics only), you enter the building and must kill all of the inhabitants. Fighting locations are not player specific, you move around (You do not fight in the same spot the whole time.) If an ally comes to the location where your fight began, he too will be moved to the fighting location to help you.

-Abilities:
From a hotkeyed Shuttle in the corner of the map you can use abilities such as: Grenade, Smoke Grenade, Potions, Stasis, ETC. I NEED MORE IDEAS FOR THESE.

Map Properties:

Tileset: Twighlight

Size: 256x256

Human Players: Three

Computer Players: Five & p36 (One Enemy(p8))

Sounds: Limiting imported .Wavs, mainly SCFree sounds

The battle system seems interesting, but a good RPG needs a good storyline or it will fail. Try to make up your own idea if possible, but I recommend a tried and true method of "save the girl/princess." Don't make it too generic though.

Ya Faz, I agree about the storyline being important. I have one in the works and it should be good. What about the battle system though? Do you like it?

Why are the people using swords if they have grenades?

Other than that the battle system seems cool.

Anyway Sounds good but i dont understand the thing where you run into a player 36 unit and you go to a little arena to fight it

Whats the point of that?

Seems Kinda Confusing
