Right now I'm busy with the site, but I'm eventually getting to making a team splash defense (3 teams x 2 players) with increased player 13 speed. Any suggestions on features you'd want to see?

Every unit that has splash? Other than that, no lol. Oh and make sure the 'target' gets controlled by some other player or whatever so people don't move them causing lurkers to unburrow, etc. And then give it back to the player when the level is done.

Features;
Ability to do evil tricks on people:
- Such as making them slower, through the use of the Zergling, or such, underneath it?
- They drop in health?
- Get Destruptioned Web'd by a Comp Player...IE can't fire for a period...maybe make it so the are moved to their Own Location constantly, so that they keep on staying underneath it, and then one it isn't there, it goes away...That would be damn hard to trigger, but just about possible...I think...
- They can't fire for a huge time, IE given to a comp...
- They get recalled away from where they are...
- Get Stormed smile.gif
- CIVAL WAR! Unit turns against them...Maybe set to random, so that who knows what you will get...but it dies very quickly...Hmm, unless people get different units that will be almost impossible!...I think.
- Some Phat, but small size, background music, maybe something like Primal Scream, or Moby?
- Some Phat Text Tricks, not in briefing alone, with people dancing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And dying ofcourse...

Suggestion:
Make it good...

Hmm.. I've never really cared for splash defenses... hmm... but no one needs my opinion here.. everyone has great ideas put in!!

I'm glad yoshi will try his best TWICE smile.gif Well, maybe you could incorporate another factor other than kill units - get money - upgrade or make more units - kill units - etc. Maybe some sort of tax on the best player? Something like ammo? Yes, I know my ideas are pretty ridiculous. but I am SICK and TIRED of all these defense maps that are the same as the next. Lurker defense was good... then they made 40 way which was just splitting the original spawn points which is not in truth 40 ways... I just would like to see something innovative, as that brings life to sc.

That is possible, though hard to make it ammo based, leads to a slow game. Also to do effects, don't use beacons or crap like that, have it so to choose something you shoot it, therefore saving time, a simple unit that fires long, Ghost, so that you can have many targets, and targets, with a single shot death. That will be cooler!

Although there is a Tutorial on ammo, it isnt very effective. A better way is either to give the unit to someone else, when their "Ammo" runs out, where the computer follows an order to retreat to base to reload...That shouldn't be hard, it is how you decide when someone is out of ammo that is hard!
