When I try to download a map from the Downloads DataBase it downloads BUT when I try to play it in StarCraft it says that the map is corrupted

note: if you are using winxp, the computer likes to change the name of files. like if the name of the file is Fall Bound 2.scx, it would change it to Fall Bound 2[1].scx. the reason that it does this remains a mystery 
so when it asks you if you want ot opent it or save it, hit save, then save it to the map directory.

no, it doesnt, i have downloaded the same file several times in a row, and the number would stay 1. and it only did this on winxp.

Maybe it puts the [1] as how many times you already have the file on your computer.
You can dl something but then delete it so it would show a [1] and not a [2].
