Basically, you choose a unit at the start of the game, then you will have a few minutes to train and then you will be teleported to the arena. Waves of units will be massed. The terrain will be a 96x96 installation. There will be upgrades, spells, and ill be using the HP% trigger. 5 selectable units, a Marine, a Firebat, a Ghost, a Goliath and a Tank, each having 2-3 unique skills (I need suggestions!).

What exactly makes it an "RPG"? This is a hero/action game.
Its kinda related to Gladiators RPG, except you cant buy weapons during the game, and there arent any spells

No, DBZ All Sagas has heroes that train for a few minutes and u have time until the bad guys come and you kill them before they destroy the city.
Quit badgering him about the RPG aspect of hsi map and give him what he asked for -
Maybe the tank could only have a certain amount of time sieging, but give siege mode, a lot of attack power
i don't really get the training part, what do you do to train? do you kill fake enemies to level up or somethin? and do you get to train before every "real" fight?

I don't think this will be different from Gladiator's RPG at all except the terrain and/or/how/is/if there's no spells.
