I was try to open it from the editor, and another thing the dragonlance rpg is fine on the editor but when I tried to play it it said it is not valid because its name is too long (this applies to matrix as well). Stupid PC!!

Lol, i downloaded so much RPG's and Other maps, then i got confused cause they all said they couldnt be run because the file name was to long, i come back here, half hur later i figure out what was wrong, and why does it have the [###] on them anyways?

well obviously my pc is messed up so I'm going to uninstall anything starcraft and then try to download the maps again.

You have to go C: Programs/starcraft/maps(or wherever you put the Matrix map)

Find the matrix map and rename it to be smaller. Notice it says the scenario name is too long or something like that.

Just delete the extra numbers that Staredit.net adds to the map title.

Glad it works.

Now that the downloads database no longer generates the [###] prefixes, you shouldn't have any more problems.
