KiLLeR2001 has convinced me to create a section which shows you how to connect to IRC and chat with other members of this website.
Join us and chat (I'll drop in too) and play some map making trivia.
KiLLeR2001 for now will be solely responsible for managing the channel. If things get out of control, people don't like it, or people are annoyed, it goes down.

IRC is a chat median. A very old and respected one at that. The little SC Channels you go to in StarCraft are based off of IRC.

Also, if some of you haven't noticed there's a chat link on the Navigation strip. It's an indepth tutorial on how to get connected using mIRC.

Ok, I'm seeing like 5 or 6 people everyday on average, but thats not enough for me. The main problem is people will join, and if no one is chatting at that instant, they just leave. In order for this to work good, you need to stay in the channel for as long as you can. From the time you're on the internet from the time you're off. I know this sounds crazy to some of you, but I leave mine all almost all the time... And I have AOL, so I know you guys can idle better than me.

i leave mine on alot but its not really active in there because sometimes i say something then like a couple hours later i come back and i still c my msg tehre without having to scroll through other messages because there are none!
