I am also making a movie type map. It's basically, you bring a unit to a location and a unit get killed every 100 millisecond. It's looks like the units are toppling over like domino's. Would anybody find this interesting to watch or should I just scrap the project?
If the "dominoes" patterns was kool, yeah, I would be interested. YOu shoulld make a game wehre people have to use the dominoes to "kill" something. Lol.
Hmm, I dunno if I would wanna watch dominoes without doing something constructive. Maybe make a map where you let users actually build their own domino setups, then allow other uses to knock them down and they can watch in glory
heeyyyyy... you got an awesome idea going there killer. I think I might restart my project, and do just that. Though this concept will take A LOT of time. But after puting the triggers and... hey wait, this map will be nothing but triggers, lol.
as everyone here (except me) is obsessed death count u should record a domino toppling sound and play it after every death
Its a good idea, but, the death of the unit would probably drown or make is less hearable.

. I'd rather get to do something constructive in the map. Like building dominoes and knocking them down

You can make the dominos tanks that are facing up, and when they get knocked down they face to the left/right.

It seems to me he would need 3 or 4 triggers
2-3 hyper triggers and this
conditions: bring 1 unit to wherever
actions: kill 1 any unit at anywhere
That would just kill everything from bottom left to top right. You would center a location on a unit, kill it, recenter on a unit in that location, kill that, etc.

lol ok ok so thats 4 triggers but that should do it. The only bug i forsee is that if there are any dominos in the center of the map they will automaticly fall over when the sequince starts. That could be fixed with a extra trigger however lol. Maybe i should just make the map instead of write the triggers i would try out first.
Bolt_Head, you own... lol i was wondering how u can make this with 2 triggers when u said it.. lol 4 triggers is not so long to make a map ;-)
Bolt head: one more thing.. i played REFLECTORS with Silent, Cloak, Math a couple of times.. but.. i think there's a bug in your map.. because sometimes.. it skip turns... or there's no addon everywhere in the map.. (like.. there's addon only at left part)
I don't know why this is happening, it seems to be very random.
anyway thats not the subject..
about the domino effect.. im sure that'll be a nice concept for a nice map.. (if sumone do it one day...)
Yeah every once in a while it skips player 3 and when it does player 4's building randomization is messed up.
I made all those triggers together without any prior planning so nartually there a mess. I wasn't able to fix the bug so declaired the map a peace of
