I have been hearing alot about sex with minors. some say that it is alright with consent but inreality it is against the law. i agree with that law. i just wanted to know aome other opinions.

the problem with all of this is that if you get a girl pregnant, (especially under-age, more or less) she will claim she was raped.

That's the law. Any girls in high school could easily strip^in front of a teacher and get him into court, wtf can he do anyway? He DID saw her and there are no proofs she didn't want that in the first place...

My philosophy; if it either harms no one, or only the one doing the activity(such as someone cutting off his leg, or giving consent to her boyfriend), than there's nothing wrong with it.
If the only people it harms, if any at all, are the people/person doing an activity of any nature, how can it be bad?

Well if you completly put the law away, then it's totally moral...
Why would we reach puberty at 11/12/13, then, if it is not that we are physicaly ready to have sexual experiences?

Back in pre-history people usually had children at about 14
In ancient Sparta girls had children at 17
I think that above 16 would be ok since they already matured psysically. It's their problem if they didn't mature mentaly.

Stripping in front of a teacher cant get him in court, only sexual interaction can.
Please find some statistics on this or some kind of proof, otherwise its just opinion.
Just because its socially less wrong that means everyobne should shift their morals and values based on the current trend in society ? wow, thats an mazing deduction. In retrospect people wanting to get married less or more has nothing to do with sex before marrige, people are just less inhibited that they used to be.

If it someone else is effected negatively and minds, than it's still bad
It's my complete philosophy for just about everything(i.e. whether burning some paper is morally wrong, whether killing someone is wrong, etc)

Hopefully if people "had sex all the time" someone would have enough brains to use birth control. I'll give you some facts: The pill is 99% effective. A properly used condom is 96% effective. Using both, .01 x .04 = .0004 chance of having a kid. Or, hell, us guys can get vasectomies and blow their brains out with a nice 0% chance of having a kid. I think they're reversible nowadays, too.

Back then there were alot of deaths do to birth at a young age. that was why having kids is dangerous at a young age. and about the preventatives. there are still girls getting pregnat at a young age today. you cant just assume that all girls will be good little girls and use birth control.

Laws vary by the state and coutnry, including age of consent as well. I think minor/minor sex is legal, but then again, the variations might fit under that as well.
