I found this weird but cool thing you can do using any type of unit and a few triggers.

Step 1: Make whatever units in a location owned by a computer that you want to scatter. It really doesn't matter how you put them in.
Step 2: Make the following triggers:

Trigger
Description:
This is the only trigger you'll need. Make sure you download Player 12 triggers from our downloads DB wink.gif
Players:
¤ Computer Player
Conditions:
¤ Always
Actions:
¤ Run AI Script "Junkyard" at "My location"
¤ Give all units owned by "Computer Player" to "Player 12"

What happens? The units act like its a regular AI... except, 98% of them (sometimes a few dont make it) go to the edge of the map, and just stop. This is great if you want to make a map where the units need to run out of the center (such as a movie map where the middle is getting bombed). Its easy to use as well. Enjoy!

lol nice way to use this feature. I knew about it because I saw in a few maps, if the player is ordered to move, and he leaves the game, the player is (of course) given to p12 and it continues the order until it stops.

that's a cool idea, r u gonna use it for matrix movie (maybe?) where the sentinels drill through the hull and every one runs away...

No, but I discovered it by accident because I was seeing if I could make Player 12 do Junkyard AI.

Ah, but can you make them go back to the centre afterwards? Yep...The cycle is complete, nice find, though it more interesting to note what happens with you make conflicting scripts!

Yes, making them go to the center would be easy I think.

put locations on hte outher edge, and when a p12 unit goes there give it to a player and order it to move back.
