I was wondering about the mineral change amount per post is it because people were making useless 5 words posts? This question is mainly addressed to yoshi but if anyone else knows feel free to respond

No Fing shiz it was because people posted 5 word things. Now posts like "hey, map looks great", etc, won't get minerals. Posts like that, while encouraging the mapper, certainly aren't worthy of minerals.

What if I go and post a 10k word Tutorial or something like that. Will I get 32 minerals?
I dunno, but I think there should be extra minerals or something if you post a well done Tutorial. After all, this is a mapping comunity and those extra mins will make people want to make more Tutorials.

Well, this IS a map making site and it would seem logical that a big Tutorial(not helping in Assistance) get more mins than a big post in Gaming or Off-Topic.

Participation is only determined by the day you joined and the number of posts you've made. So you're pretty much screwed if you joined like 1 year ago and started posting in the last 3 months xD

No that wouldn't be enough for posting a 10,000 word tutorial. You'd deserve probably more than 32 minerals.. cuz that's a lot of typing. It would take someone more than an 2 hours to type that stuff. And the stuff you can buy cost in the 100s - 600s.
You should lower the prices for stuff. It shouldn't cost 21 to make a single attack or defense specialist. Armies are supposed to be big so make specialists cost more like 10 - 15 minerals. It would take 5 or 6 posts for me to get a single specialist if the price were left at 21.

And what about posting topics? Whatever the original topic posting minerals were, do you need to type alot to get more minerals? Or is the posting topics the same as before. I guess i'll never get to 60% since i was on vacation and didn't post stuff for a few weeks... I dont really care about minerals, I just want participation to go up
