If this is true, not only am I quitting mapping, I'm going on a rampage.
EDIT: There is some speculation that this is not the real Clokr_. There is much evidence pointing to this, but it is not confirmed. I won't give the things out so if he IS being impersonated or something, the poser will not be able to hide himself better. Personally, with what I know I can say it most likely isn't the real Clokr_. Please refrain from going into an insane frenzy.

Two Reasons to Unprotect
1. "Fix" maps. Good mappers don't make maps that need fixing, or release new versions shortly after bugs are found.
2. Stealing, rigging, etc.
Face it, do you really think 95% of the B.net pubs are there to "learn" from looking at our maps? Hell no. We must fight against these weapons of mass unprotection.

Good Thing about unprotecting: If you have accidently saved protected version over the map you can unprotect it.

It is possible someone is controlling his account on those forums, although there's something deep down inside me telling me that is not the case... I guess we'll know when he posts on here... If he does.
I don't want this to happen... I spend far too much time with maps, and to have this happen would be it for me. My last map took 5 weeks working on it 4 hours a day at least... That kind of time is precious, and for someone to unprotect the map and make some changes (whether good or bad) is like destroying a piece of art.

About that I must say that I'm the real clokr_, and yes, the real clokr_ is posting on blizzforums. I don't care either way - mapping should be open to all. If you're not going to make maps just because somebody can unprotect them - then that sounds quite sad to me.
