I was loading units into Dropships for Rocket Launchers. Now, these units had Invisible text on the end of them... so I could reference information in them without it appearing on the unit in game. But, placing the invisible text had a different effect than I intended on the units while in the dropship...
Yay! Ive got a new toy to play with! ^___^
And you know for sure this was caused by the Invisible text?
I was checking it out. Its the invisable text marker for sure. If you have at least one anywhere in the unit name it will make the thing half as tall as it should be.
I cant explain why it does that.
I love starcraft, it has so many bugs! Looks a bit cool though, right? Kinda werid how it works though.
Kool...nice find. Does it have any other effects besides inside the dropship/shuttle/overlord?
Wes should try in bunker, and with stacked text with invisible markers in it.
Cool, but I can't think of a use for it (except to make certain unit labels stand out amongst others if the player holds their mouse over them).
For Matrix I used invisible text on my units in the dropship and it did not have that effect.
Is it just for dropships, or does it work on other transports as well?
It works on all units/buildings that can load units. You can make it smaller by typing more text. You can also make it crash when it's in the dropship and you move your mouse on it, but it would be fine out of the dropship. Just play around with the colour marks.
Another pointless feature of the bug-filled game, which also, according to my sources, has some of the worst programmer code ever!
Yet, it's still one of the best games ever made.

I would ask Yoshi if he did anything else to the text on his Matrix unit but...

You should make an unit in a dropship then put it's name all Upperscores .. that'd look cool .
Upperscore = 01455 or 0175.
